One of the best ways you can help your teen to prepare for life is by giving him or her consistent opportunities to "sharpen the saw" by developing Christian leadership character in this leadership mastermind program--the only one that exists for teens.
Everything teens (and we!) want is going to require strong personal leadership to get it.
In 2024-25, teens will focus on understanding & practicing their true identity in Christ. My goal for them is to find their self-worth and personal value in HIM--not in themselves, or in others' opinions of them.
Strong self-leadership begins with a strong sense of identity (who you believe you are). As Christians, true, secure, significant identity is found in Jesus Christ's perfect, finished performance FOR us--not in our own performance.
In the Well-Led Life Leadership Mastermind, students practice self-leadership on a regular basis, resulting in growth in leadership character over time. They learn principles, discuss them with peers, apply them using goals, and consistently set their intentions to lead themselves well.
Why is it important for your teen to learn to lead himself/herself well? Because God has a MISSION for them to fulfill here on earth. Their life's purpose begins to reveal itself in middle & high school. Teens thrive when they live ON MISSION, with a sense of PURPOSE. Discovering their personal mission and becoming the person who can fulfill their mission is why your teen needs to learn HOW to be the BEST leader of himself/herself.

Brenda Jung is a Christian leadership mentor for middle & high school students who want to develop their ability to lead themselves well, so that they can lead others well. She has worked with youth since she was one herself. She believes middle & high school are the most exciting stages in life, because how a person chooses to lead him/herself in 7th-12th grades will shape the rest of your life. Brenda is a certified youth coach with the John Maxwell Leadership Team. One of the most important, proactive choices she made was to invest in earning her M.A. in Biblical Studies from Westminster Seminary California.
