Well-Led-Life 1:1 Mentorship
A consistent, personalized leadership program is the most effective way to develop yourself into a Christian leader--even if you don't see yourself as a leader (yet).

What My Students Have Said About Mentorship
Dear Mrs. Brenda,
Thank you so much for mentoring me throughout the year and interceding on my behalf during my mission trip! I feel so safe asking you for advice and talking through ways to improve myself--physically, mentally, spiritually. I hope you have a great summer!

What Parents Have Said About Mentorship
"We’ve seen an increased capacity for empathy, as well as ability to engage in calm discussions involving disagreement.
Brenda shares a lot of the same values and beliefs we do, but she’s able to teach them to Lincoln in a positive and engaging manner.
She doesn’t just tell him an “answer,” but guides him along his own thought process, which keeps him accountable for himself.
From the very first session, Lincoln felt comfortable and safe to open up and share. He said Ms. Brenda is “fun” to talk to!
Brenda was available to me for parental support, and there were definately a few times I received insightful advice.

You will receive all of these materials with the program:
- Ten (10) monthly 60-minute mentorship sessions with Brenda (usually August 2024 - May 2025)
- Between sessions, both parents and student may reach out to Brenda for support as needed via text or email, within reason, though at times she may not be able to respond to messages in less than 24 hours
- Post-session summary of key ideas discussed & actions to take over the next month is emailed to student
- Self-Reflective Personal Leadership Assessments are used to inform mentorship conversations
- Personalized coaching in emotional development & problem-solving
- Action-oriented goal-setting & monthly follow-up
- College application preparation
- Update Personal Mission Statement to begin envisioning the next school year (if student created a mission statement in Year 2 of the Mastermind)

How does the mentorship process work?
Sessions are scheduled by the student (preferable) or parent at the beginning of each monthÂ
An agreement to confidentiality & commitment must be signed by both parent & student prior to the first session
A parent & student questionnaire will be sent at the beginning of the program to assess needs and goals; a Zoom meeting with Brenda will be scheduled to partner with parents in collaborative efforts
Session cancellations made within 2 hours of scheduled time may be rescheduled.
